We are seeking a meticulous Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team remotely. This role involves managing accounts payable processes, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Payment Management: Prepare and issue payments to vendors through various methods, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable ledgers and resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Expense Reporting: Assist in the preparation and processing of employee expense reports.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to address payment-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other finance team members and departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance is preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with remote communication tools.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to accounts payable.
