We are seeking a detailed-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Associate to join our Accounting Department. Successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, be well organized and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
- Maintenance of accounts payable files and records.
- Responds to all vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests;
- Assist with month-end closing.
- Assist with special projects as required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great organization skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Team player with a positive attitude
