Our client in Shelton is looking to add an Accounts Payable Representative on a part-time basis (3 days/week). This is a temp-to-perm position reporting to the Controller. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who wants the flexibility of a part-time schedule. Start as soon as next week.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify invoices
  • Accounts payable functions include verifying, matching and processing payment of invoices. Check runs, expense reporting.
  • Track vendor invoices to ensure timely payments.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Vendor relations.
  • Assist with month-end close.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of A/P and general accounting knowledge.
  • HS degree or equivalent required.
  • ERP System experience, excel.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Other projects as assigned.
