Job Title: Accounting Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs, expenses, and revenue recognition to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and approve project-related transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including job cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Coordinate with project teams to address financial issues, provide guidance on cost control measures, and support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of project accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of project accounting operations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and resolving any audit findings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting required
- Public accounting experience
- Strong understanding of project management principles and construction accounting practices.
Compensation:
90k-100k base salary, depending on experience
5%-10% annual bonus depending on individual and company performance
