Job Details- Maintain account payables system; review and verify all invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents; and resolve discrepancies.
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions and correspond with vendor on inquiries regarding invoices.
- Maintain account reconciliations. Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices.
- Process various accounting-related reports required by management or government agencies.
- Assist with other accounting functions such as taxes and monthly and yearly financial reports.
- Assist the Controller, President, and other departments with projects.
- Perform administrative support, such as filing and maintaining records and reports, receiving and distributing mail, making copies, assisting with the postage meter, and shredding files.
- Process the weekly payroll for the company.
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred or at least 3 years of experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/Accounting systems
