VENTEON Finance is hiring an Accounting Specialist to provide support for a company in Farmington, MI. You will assist the accounting department in revenue recognition, invoicing, cash receipts, banking, and reconciliation work.
POSITION TYPE: Open ended contract. Hybrid after training (3 in office, 2 remote).
PAY: $22.00 to $25.00 Per hour based on education and skills.
Requirements of the Accounting Specialist:
- Degree nice to have. Not Required. Knowledge and application of Accounting Principles and debits/credits are a must.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience that includes processing Accounting transactions timely and accurately.
- Skills with reviewing and interpreting documents and contracts, generating invoices, retrieving and processing banking information, reviewing and making payments. Reconciling information from multiple sources.
- Good general accounting skills and knowledge, ability to identify and follow up on discrepancies.
- Willingness to support various accounting related tasks.
- Technical skills with MS Office including strong Excel capability. Exp ith an Accounting system such as Great Plains.
