What You'll Do:
- Financial Leadership: Manage accounting practices and ensure accurate financial reporting to support our mission.
- Grants Management: Oversee grant reporting and compliance to maximize funding opportunities.
- Audit Assistance: Collaborate with auditors and assist with financial audits and reporting requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our dedicated team to achieve our shared goals and objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 8-10 years in accounting, with at least 6 years in nonprofit settings.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit experience, payroll management, and financial reporting.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage budgets, and handle pressure with a cool head.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with software implementation (NetSuite & Concur) and advanced Excel skills.
