Position Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Pacific, WA.

As an Accounting Manager you will report to the Controller. You will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in accounting, preferably in the equipment industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Coordinate and assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits.
  • Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
