The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will report directly to the CFO and will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Details

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Present financial reports to senior management and external stakeholders as needed.

General Ledger Management: Manage the general ledger system, including chart of accounts maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting. Work closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic financial projections.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.

Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during annual financial audits. Prepare audit schedules, respond to inquiries, and facilitate the audit process.

Tax Compliance: Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all tax regulations. Prepare and file tax returns and assist with tax planning initiatives.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support in day-to-day operations. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Implement changes as needed to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
