Accounting Manager

Clayton Services is searching for an Accounting Manager to join a thriving company in Northwest Houston.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $100,000-$130,000/year

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

Supervise the month-end close process, ensuring accurate journal entries, and analysis of account balances

Responsible for intercompany transactions and international consolidation

Ensure the accuracy of payroll, expenses, accruals, commissions, and related reconciliations

Manage accounting staff (1-2 people)

Report to CFO for projects

Prepare annual budget and projections

Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports according to GAAP and IFRS

Assist with Oracle NetSuite implementation

Work with external CPA firms on audits and tax preparation

Collaborate in reviewing physical inventory, reconciling variances in cost of goods sold, and maintaining fixed assets, and depreciation schedules

Collaborate with departments

Manage day-to-day banking operations including wire transfers, ACH, and reconciliations

Handle invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain general ledger entries

Process payroll, expense reimbursements, and benefits-related entries

Execute accruals, loan interest, and intercompany entries

Other duties as assigned

Accounting Manager Skills and Abilities:

Microsoft Office proficiency

Bilingual in English and Mandarin

Accounting Manager Education and Experience:

A minimum of seven years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment is required

Experience with cost accounting

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required

Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required

Experience using NetSuite is highly preferred

Experience using QuickBooks is highly preferred
