Accounting Manager - Well Established company in the Hospitality Industry

The Accounting Manager responsibilities:
- Supervises A/R, A/P, personnel.
- Responsible for reconciliations with vendors (i.e., Hotels, Transport vendors, Travel Agents, etc.)
- Responsible for overseeing accounting procedures, internal controls (implementing, monitoring, enhancing), analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement.
- Randomly audits workflow to assure that all accounting transactions are appropriate.
- Supervises or prepares monthly journal entries.
- Prepares financial statements.
- Supervises or prepares general ledger reconciliations.
- May train staff on internal control procedures; assist Controller as needed.
- Reviews monthly closing process
- Works on special projects, if requested; assists with yearly audit preparation.
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
- 5-10 years of corporate accounting experience
- Supervisory experience highly preferred
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
- Hospitality Industry experience is a PLUS but not required.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
