The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Additional duties as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in public accounting and the manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, SEC reporting, and manufacturing
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
  • Able to analyze financial records and transfer information
  • Data analysis and forecasting skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise
