Responsibilities: -
Financial Reporting Expertise: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to provide crucial information to executives, shareholders, and regulatory bodies.

Comprehensive Accounting Management: Oversee various accounting functions, including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, credit and collections, general ledger, investments, and taxes.

Reconciliation Mastery: Lead reconciliation efforts for revenue reports, general ledgers, balance sheet accounts, suspense postings, and fixed-asset and pre-paid expense ledgers.

Daily and Monthly Operations: Ensure the examination of daily balance sheets, preparation of daily and monthly journal entries, and contribute to an accurate end-of-month close.

CECL Analysis: Lead the analysis and reconciliation of current expected credit losses (CECL).

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate on developing budgets and forecasts, track performance against goals, and provide insightful variance analysis.

Financial Systems Optimization: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of financial systems (e.g., ERP software) to support accurate and efficient financial operations.

Special Projects: Conduct special accounting studies, analyses, and projects as requested by management, maintaining complex computer-based analyses and reports.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and minimize the risk of fraud or error.

Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff, including task assignments, work reviews, performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices, including the automation of routine tasks.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

Professional proficiency in English; Spanish fluency is preferred, but not required.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in QuickBooks, advanced Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.

Experience in the analysis of multi-system outputs.

Ability to quickly learn various software programs.
