Position Overview:

As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and compliance. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes.

Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance activities, including payroll tax filings and reporting.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.

Mentor and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional development and ensure departmental goals are met.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards; experience with IFRS is a plus.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
