Our Client; a privately owned construction services company is looking to add to their inside office team. This person will play a key role in the everyday office functions, accounting, and human resources. Solid pay, 401k, vacation, sick time, bonus potential as well.
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a Must
- Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payable experience
- Manages, personnel records to determine names, rates of pay, and occupations of newly hired workers, and changes in wage rates and occupations of employees on payroll.
- Records, or directs recording of, new or changed pay rates in payroll register or computer files.
- Manages computation of pay according to company policy.
- Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy.
- Adjusts errors and complaints.
Human Resources and Office Management
- Consults legal counsel to ensure that policies comply with federal and state law.
- Develops and maintains a human resources system that meets top management information needs.
- Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, personnel and information management filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
- Maximizes office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications.
- Reviews clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
- Maintains contact with customers and outside vendors.
- May serve as mediator for employee conflict resolution.
- Adaptable to new sytems, software, and able to assist in implementing as needed.

Pay: From $55,000 - $65,000 per year
