As an Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day financial activities of our organization. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Supervising and managing the accounting team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
3. Ensuring that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and accounts receivable are collected promptly.
4. Managing the production of periodic financial reports; ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
5. Coordinating the preparation of the corporate annual report and forecasting future revenues and expenses.
6. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures, including the record-keeping system.
7. Communicating financial metrics to senior management and providing advice on the financial implications of business activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Other qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
3. Proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
4. Exceptional leadership abilities with a commitment to guide and mentor a team.
5. Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
