Job Description: CBD American Shaman is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a background in fulfillment and manufacturing Accounts Payable to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong analytical skills to manage accounts receivable processes efficiently while leveraging their knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable.
Responsibilities: 1. Accounts Receivable Management:
• Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions. 2. Customer Relationship Management:
• Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms if necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor. 3. Cash Application:
• Process incoming payments and accurately apply them to customer accounts.
• Reconcile cash receipts and deposits regularly. 4. Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and implement collection strategies.
• Generate monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable performance. 5. Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline accounts receivable procedures and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and best practices. 6. Fulfillment and Manufacturing Accounts Payable Support:
• Leverage knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable processes to provide support and collaboration with relevant teams.
• Assist in resolving any cross-functional issues related to accounts receivable and payable processes.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience (X years) in accounts receivable management.
• Strong understanding of fulfillment and manufacturing accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and compliance standards.
• Certification such as Certified Accounts Receivable Manager (CAR), Certified Credit and Collection Professional (CCCP), or similar is preferred.
