The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and possess knowledge of accounting principles. Job responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily transactions for Accounts Receivable/ Payable
• Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
• Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues.
• Ability to cover accounting department vacations and time-off.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Other duties and functions as necessary for the business
Qualifications:
• Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are a must.
• Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
