Accounting Consultant

- The Accounting Consultant will provide guidance to customers regarding the company's products: this means the role is 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Consultant role:
- Continuously learn about company software
- Train customers on any software handling cost accounting and basic accounting processes
- Conduct initial needs assessment of business processes
- Analyze data to identify issues and weaknesses in business processes
- Prepare and present analysis of client data and recommendations for product usage
Preferred Qualifications/Experience for the Accounting Consultant role:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or another relevant field is preferred, but not required
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, cost accounting experience preferred. Background in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Experience with ERP system implementation and coding for general ledger preferred
- Highly effective communication, research, and analysis skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
Salary: $60,000 -$70,000 Based on experience
