The main responsibility of the Commissions Specialist is to become an expert on our clients various commission incentive plans in order to process commissions and payroll. Additional responsibilities will include completing various accounting and month-end close tasks under the direction of the Controller and assisting with updating and maintenance of various company database platforms including the company's CRM.

Duties:

Work together with Finance and the rest of the Corporate Support teams to obtain, process, and reconcile data necessary to perform commission calculations and process payroll

Processing, validation, analysis and distribution of commission payments and reports on a semi-monthly basis

Monitor and coordinate filing of payroll tax returns with payroll processor

Monitor worker's compensation compliance

Enhance and maintain standard operating procedures for commission processing and incentive plan maintenance

Build trusted relationship with payroll provider, commission application vendor and bank to further their understanding of our business needs

Assist Leadership Team in defining relevant metrics and identify their data sources to develop strategic tracking towards company's growth goals

Work together with Recruiting and Operations teams to perform designated functions to onboard/offboard associates and clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred

Advanced Excel skills

Analytical skills with finance background

Collaborate with others to understand issues and develop solutions

Consistently meets deadlines

Organized with a strong attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal skills

Past experience with processing commissions highly desired

Experience with Zoho Analytics, Zoho CRM and Easy Commission a plus, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products
