ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

CAMDEN, NJ
MUST BE LOCAL TO CAMDEN; this will be a hybrid role in office Tues, Wed and Thurs.

SAP and Blackline experience strongly preferred.

Must have strong MS EXCEL skills.

The pay for this position ranges from $37.00 to $39.29 per hour.

Required Skills:

SAP and Blackline experience strongly preferred.

3-5 years of experience - preferrable general or public accounting experience.

Must have strong MS EXCEL skills and a strong worker who can work independently and have strong communication skills.

Project Description:

Accounting for supply chain operations including freight, warehousing, contract manufacturing, procurement contracts, and inventory aging/obsolescence.

Partner with the Corporate Controllers group to support relevant external financial disclosures.

Prepare journal entries accurately and in a timely manner during period close.

Prepare clear and accurate account reconciliations.

Contribute to the preparation of quarterly deliverables related to balance sheet and P&L analysis.

Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards applicable to this area.

Assist with internal and external audits through coordination of requests and implementation of follow-up actions.

Partner with the business in continuous improvement efforts, projects, system implementations and other initiatives.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the department.

Advance dashboards and data visualization reporting and analysis.

Partner with the Corporate Controllers group, the Supply Chain Finance team, Division Finance teams, and functional counterparts to complete ad hoc reporting and analysis.

This 4+ month position starts ASAP.
