PEG's client is seeking an Accounting Assistant to help a manufacturer with a direct hire/ permanent opportunity. You're essential as the team's backbone. This role is 8-5p, Monday-Friday (no mandatory overtime here.), offering pay offering up to $40k annually and in a great location - Des Peres, MO. Apply NOW.

What You'll Do:
As an Accounting Assistant, you'll prepare inbound tallies for invoicing which includes pulling sales orders, copying paperwork, and emailing requests.
Heavy volume data entry - input data into the accounting system.
Gather information from vendors, salespeople, and customers including updating purchase agreements and contracts.
Assist with various accounting duties such as maintain files, credit references and other administrative duties for the accounting team.

To Be Successful, It'll Help If You Have:
5+ years of administrative and accounting experience
Enjoy working in office - this is a fully in office team and you are expected to be there 8-5p M-F with the rest of the team
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as 10-key data entry
Ability to stay organized while multitasking
Solid oral and written communication skills
Sage ERP experience a plus (Sage the software, not the herb)
Basic math/algebra skills - calculators welcome
Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
