Job Details

Job Title: Accounting Administrator

Overview:
As an Accounting Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for various administrative tasks related to accounting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Prepare and issue payments to vendors and suppliers. Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from customers.

Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines. Track and report on expenses, assisting in budget management and cost control efforts.

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries as required. Compile data and generate financial reports for management review. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Data Entry and Maintenance: Input financial data into accounting software and maintain electronic and physical records. Verify accuracy of data and resolve discrepancies promptly. Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of financial documents.

Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of balances. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors identified during the reconciliation process.

Assistance with Audits: Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits. Provide documentation and support as needed to facilitate audit procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and providing general support to the finance team. Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and maintain calendars as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or finance administration role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
