JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team in Austin, TX. This role involves managing procure to pay processes, ensuring timely vendor account maintenance, and responding efficiently to vendor communications. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership qualities, particularly in earning trust, and has the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Candidates will supervise four accounting assistants, ensuring a 48-hour turnaround on active invoice problems and maintaining excellent vendor relations.

Maintain EDI invoice troublebox and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Review, research, and manage credit memos and shortage/pricing claims.

Acquire vendor statements and complete final account reconciliations.

Respond promptly to vendor calls and emails, securing proof of delivery as needed.

Supervise four accounting assistants, providing guidance and support as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of experience in procure to pay processes.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Strong computer and excellent communication skills.
