Are you someone who has the ability to excel in a strategic, forward-thinking department? As a member of our team, you will have responsibilities critical to Federal and State compliance, ASC 740/FAS 109 accounting, and planning projects, with an emphasis on fixed asset depreciation calculations. What will you do? Work on a team to ensure the accurate and timely filing of all The Mosaic Company's U.S. compliance forms consistent with management philosophy and tax law requirements. Supervise and review worldwide fixed asset calculations including CapEx, bonus depreciation, and other mining industry-specific standards Assist with the preparation of Mosaic's annual Research & Development Tax Credit study, including corresponding with other functional areas at Mosaic. Collaborate on the timely and accurate completion of the financial statements consistent with management philosophy and regulatory requirements Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following: Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Tax or Law is required CPA preferred 5+ years of experience at a major public accounting firm and/or tax department of a multinational corporation Knowledge of federal, state, and/or international corporate tax law Required experience includes US tax compliance, fixed assets/depreciation concepts and strategies, electronic research, and ASC 740/FAS 109 Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Experience with SAP, PowerTax, and CorpTax is preferred Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment Mosaic is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
