We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant (Broker/Dealer/Series 27) to join our established finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the finance industry, specifically in broker/dealer operations, and a profound understanding of accounting principles. This role requires a proactive individual who can navigate the complexities of financial regulations, ensuring compliance, and managing financial risks.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of broker/dealer operations, including trade processing, clearance, and settlement.
2. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
3. Conduct a thorough analysis of financial data to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, specifically those related to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
5. Develop and implement effective financial strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency.
6. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate reviews and audits.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
8. Provide financial advice and guidance to the management team, supporting key business decisions.
9. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Experience working as an Accountant
• Series 27 FINRA license OR broker/dealer license
