What the Revenue Accountant will do:
-Oversee booking Month-End Revenue, Billing, Rebates.
-Contract based billing, posting, and review; Auditing Cash Posting and Credit Posting.
-Perform Revenue Reconciliations, Subledger to General Ledger Reconciliations; AMEX and Bank Reconciliations.
-Responsible for managing Vendor Accounts- offboarding vendor accounts, final invoices, and auditing the account for close.
-Prepare and maintain revenue-related financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-Oversee daily/monthly/quarterly billing; to include reviewing billing processes and systems to optimize efficiency and accuracy, reducing billing errors and delays.
-Assist in internal and external audits by providing relevant revenue-related documentation.
-Streamline processes, develop, and implement best practices, and leverage automation tools to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
-Accounting Liaison who provides guidance and support in revenue-related matters, ensuring alignment between financial goals and operational activities. Collaborate with sales, operations, legal, and finance teams to understand business operations, sales strategies, and contractual terms.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
-3 years' minimum accounting experience.
-Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and revenue recognition standards.
-Experience in revenue accounting or a related financial role.
-NetSuite and Salesforce highly preferred.
-Excel - Formulas, Pivot Tables, V/H Lookups
