Sr. Audit Accountant

Rockville, MD

MUST:

Experienced Public Accountant

2+ years in the public accounting field

2+ years recently executing external Audits for clients

Strong understanding of general ledger accounting with GAAP

Non-profit accounting experience a plus

Experience with AdvanceFlow audit software

Experience with Lacerte tax preparation

Experience with QuickBooks accounting software is a plus

CPA license or be actively pursuing CPA license required

Bachelor's degree in accounting required

DUTIES:

Oversee audit planning and fieldwork for a variety of non-profit Organizations and for-profit privately held businesses

Supervise and train staff on audit fieldwork procedures and audit theory

Complete management of compilation and review engagements

GAAP Financial Statement preparation and analysis

Prepare non-profit income tax returns and business filings
