Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to a thriving company with a positive and collaborative culture. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable, financial auditing, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial industry, be detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of improving financial processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
3. Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
4. Develop and implement effective budgeting processes, including forecasting and variance analysis.
5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate financial data and optimize business processes.
6. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current financial trends and regulations.
8. Ensure timely and accurate tax filing and other regulatory reporting.
9. Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a 4-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the finance industry.
4. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
5. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
6. Experience in financial auditing and budgeting.
7. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
10. Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically.
