Job title:- Sr. Accounting Manager

Location:- 3 days onsite in Dublin/San Mateo, CA

Duration:- 08 Months

Pay rate:- $90/hr - $95/hr on W2 without any benefits

Notes:

Though this is a Sr. Accounting manager they would not be doing any general accounting and review work. This person would be individual contributor.

This is a very high-level role. Owning and leading a project. This is more of technical accounting and strategic role.

When we say technical accounting :

From the ERP standpoint we use Workday and prior experience would be ideal. If someone just have QuickBooks experience that would not be a right fit.

Touchbase of Cash Investments and the other areas that this person would own.

Overseeing internally developed software, Hedging programs. etc.

We have certain areas are that we want this person to own but that's TBD.

Both of these folks that this person would be filling in have experience in public accounting working in public accounting companies and transitioned here in more technology-based project.

They worked on Internally developed software programs, Hedging, Leasing ASC 350

CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Own complex accounting areas, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, disclosure schedules for financial filings, and fluctuation analysis to help management with business decisions.

Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, SOX Controls and external audits.

Assist executive leadership teams with special projects, research and supplemental reporting.

Collaborate with other Finance and cross-functional teams on monthly close matters and other initiatives.

Coordinate solutions to problems of moderate complexity with other departments and business units and communicate issues and resolutions to management and affected areas/departments.

Work on process optimization and automation efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness on a continuous basis through various techniques using technology solutions and automation.

Assist team to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables

Ensure all key internal controls over operations and financial reporting are in place and operating in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations.

Participate in other assignments and ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with public accounting experience preferred.

8+ years of progressive responsibilities applying US GAAP standards, audit experience a plus.

Ability to execute and proactively follow up.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Ability to challenge the status quo and leverage technology to build scalable processes, gain efficiencies, streamline accounting operations and improve outcomes.

Shown ability to work effectively in a team environment and have strong rapport with the management team and colleagues.

Strong attention to detail, exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Working knowledge of Workday ERP or other large ERP.

Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
