We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to join our team in the finance industry. This role will be pivotal in managing the financial health of our organization, contributing to financial decision-making processes, and developing strategies to increase profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing. Responsibilities

1. Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes.
2. Follow and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
3. Record and research all financial information for analysis.
4. Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
5. Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
6. Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
7. Develop systems to process payroll and track expenses.
8. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
9. Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
10. Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company.
11. Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
12. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.

Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. An advanced degree or professional certification such as a CPA is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of proven accounting experience, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing.
4. Proficiency in accounting software, databases, and financial analysis.
5. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Excellent mathematical skills, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team.
8. Strong analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
12. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
