This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is responsible for performing accounting tasks for a portfolio of our clients. Rate:Based on experience.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly analytical review, variance analysis and financial statement preparation for a portfolio of properties.
  • Serve as primary financial contact for properties assigned.
  • Attend board meetings on an as needed basis.
  • Reconcile bank account statements.
  • Assist in the filing of annual taxes and financial statement preparation.
  • Review and approve invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of business machine operations, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Vantaca and Yardi software experience a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work additional hours during certain times of the year to meet Accounting Department deadlines.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to manage complex task assignments and provide direction/support to co-workers in task performance.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively deal with co-workers and outside persons.
