Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing and managing the entire accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
  • Participating in the budgeting process and providing insightful financial analysis to aid in decision making.
  • Ensuring compliance with all internal controls and financial policies.
  • Assisting in the preparation for annual audits.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and developments and applying this knowledge to your work.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • An associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Ag Economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
