Accountant I

Immediate need for a talented Accountant. This is a 9 -12+ Months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in State College, PA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Performs data entry related to accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reviews and processes billing transactions

Codes invoices to accounts for North America accounts payable

Prepares periodic account reconciliations including generating the support for those reconciliations

Post cash receipts

Book Journals to reflect financial activities (may include some or all of: accruals, fixed assets, accounts receivables, accounts payables, expenses, payroll)

Perform general accounting tasks as assigned

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, or related field

2+ years of experience in accounting, particularly with accounts payable and accounts receivable

Experience with Microsoft Excel required

Experience with SAP, Infor Visual, and Stampli a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and vendors
