Northrop Grumman Financial Shared Service Center is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant 2 candidate for our Irving, Texas location. This position will have an in office requirement of 2 days per week and candidates will need to be local to the Irving, Texas area. Key Responsibilities: Review and reconcile Non-PO Vendors for 1099 Reporting Posting Non-PO Invoice / ADR Expense Types Posting of Domestic and International Consultants Non-PO Invoices: 301A - International Consultant 301B - Domestic Consultant Consultant for CC90 (Without NG Agreement) Imprest Fund / Depository / Employee Contributions POC for Unclaimed Property Checks Process, Review and Reconcile Non-PO Interfaces Assist with research for AP Unapplied Refund Checks Reconciles and prepares Quarterly California Non-Resident Tax Withholding for submission to the Tax Department POC for Monthly Afghan Reporting Assist with system upgrade/service pack testing for Non-PO Scripts Provide customer support Enterprise-Wide Backup Lead for the following: Non-PO Month End APE122 Accrual Reconciliation Special Handling rotation for checks with attachments and/or FedEx Non-PO Helpdesk and respond to inquiries within 24 hours Posting Non-PO Invoice / ADR Expense Types Ad hoc reports and tasks as needed In order to succeed in this role, candidates will need: Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Analytical Mindset Customer Orientated End-to-End Process Driven Self-Motivated Agile Teamwork Mindset Basic Qualifications 12 years with no degree, 6+ years with Associates Degree, or 3+ years with Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Shared Service Experience Experience working with DCAA, internal audit or external audit Strong knowledge of GAAP Preferred Qualifications SAP / S4 Experience Leading Team Project experience Process Improvement experience Salary Range: $62,600 - $93,800 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
