Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC, is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, New York, Louisiana, Texas and Brazil. After 40 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries. We are seeking an Outside Sales - Account Manager to join our Sales Team.

The Account Manager role is responsible for engaging with a diverse customer base, working with them to assess and improve equipment performance and effectiveness. The Account Manager should have proven experience in developing long-term customer relationships and supporting teams in refining reliability solutions. Successfully introducing, promoting, and selling the complete Flexaseal service and product line to new and existing customers will be an essential skill set.

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven success in creating meaningful, long-term customer relationships and territory growth within the market. The territory for this position is the Rochester New York Area.

Responsibilities
Regularly contact and visit major end users' customers providing technical support for seal and seal support systems;
Establish and monitor territory growth, ensuring strategic long-term goals;
Work with customer's Engineering, Maintenance, and Procurement teams to improve MTBR and help reduce the site operating cost;
Travel to customer onsite locations for personal interaction on a recurring basis; and
Collaborate with Flexaseal's Engineering and Insides Sales team to best support the customer expectations.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' outside sales experience with reliability engineering, mechanical seals or pumps;
College degree, with preference for Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree, Business related degree with a technical inclination, or equivalent outside sales experience;
Experience making sales calls and giving engineered products presentations to end users, OEM's, distributors, and engineering firms; and
Dynamic personality, strong organizational and communication skill are essential.
