Account Manager, P&C Construction Team

The Account Manager reports to the Account Executive and as a team ensures consistent implementation of the MMA Service and Operational standards. The Account Manager interacts with clients, insurance markets, outside relationships, accounting, marketing, claims, loss control, and management to provide exceptional service. They maintain client relationships and collaborate closely with MMA producers, working together to proactively service accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out ongoing client service functions in partnership with the Account Executive and Producer, including, but not limited to:
Renewal Checklist Procedures
Binder Checklist Procedures
Carry out Service Calendar tasks
Insurance Binders, Binder Letters
Data entry into Sagitta
Draft client proposals, charts and presentations
Ensure coverage standards and identify coverage deficiencies
Track Stewardship Activities
Billing and Invoicing
Prepare ModMaster Calculations
Maintain Exposure Schedules
Review for accuracy completed applications
Transmission of information to clients and insurance companies
Secure subjectivities and binding documents from Client
Bind with carriers, obtaining binding confirmation and policy details
Troubleshoot on accounting issues
Preparing pre-renewal information
Directly responsible for Certificates of Insurance, Auto ID Cards, Endorsements, and coordination of these tasks with outsourcing resources
Coordinating the serving of accounts with the Practice Leader and Account Executive
Working as directed with outside vendor services
Other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of client service experience in the insurance brokerage business

Must

have experience with New York Construction industry clients

Must be well organized with excellent math, written and oral communication skills. Must possess strong technical skills.
High School Diploma. A college degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance or Insurance Management highly preferred.
Must possess Property/Casualty Agents/Brokers license
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The applicable base salary range for this role is $56,400 to $120,500. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
