Summary

The Account Manager will serve as the primary focal point for assigned accounts, providing access to PetroCard's full line of products and fuel solutions, informed by customer needs. The successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of the fuels industry and company's products and capabilities, and demonstrate the ability to create value and access, provide two-way insights and expertise, anticipate new opportunities, and proactively respond to market and industry changes. The ideal candidate for this position will be driven to create value for both PetroCard and our customers by performing the following duties:

Role & Responsibilities

Collaborate with assigned sales representative in order to assist growth-of-book and provide support and leads for new business.
Proactive liaison between the company and its customers in order to maximize the value of products and services provided.
Make ongoing proactive and reactive customer calls and efficiently promote opportunities and resolve issues to ensure a positive relationship with accounts.
Lead interface with PetroCard's internal Sales, Supply & Distribution, Finance and Management teams to ensure process, accounting and operational efficiency and integrity.
Proactively share current customer insights and market knowledge within PetroCard organization.
Ensure current contracts are up-to-date, accurate, complete, and in line with contact management policies. Coordinate drafting of new contracts.
Organize and document all communications and account information in CRM and in company intranet files.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems/complaints and track within CRM.
Provide regular progress reports and manage tasks on assigned accounts.
Special projects and reports to be assigned as needed.

Job Requirements

Associate's Degree and two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and experience with project planning, development and evaluation as well as the ability to meet project deadlines.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and exercise superior judgment to make decisions.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Computer literacy, with demonstrated experience with Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer or equivalent).
Team player with ability to interact effectively cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
Strong written and oral communication skills along with the ability to negotiate or influence.
A customer service mindset for both internal and external customers.
Industry knowledge desired but not required.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Ability to lead and deliver results.
