Date Posted: 2023-10-27 Country: United States of America Location: HND01: Interiors (Cargo) - Jamestown 2604 Highway 20 North, Jamestown, ND, 58401 USA Position Role Type: Onsite 4th shift hours are Friday-Sunday 6AM-6:30PM (paid for 40 hours) and includes a shift differential. This position may be eligible for relocation. Collins Aerospace is looking for a Painter II to join our manufacturing team in Jamestown, ND. This position will perform paint and surface prep operations for painting. After the parts have been painted the individual will un-rack the parts and deliver them to the internal customer. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for prepping, priming of detail parts to current spec requirements along with the capability of Top-coat Application. Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, paint control. Follow standard operating procedures and specifications Mix paint to specified viscosity Clean, assemble and adjust spray guns and equipment Wash, wipe and sand parts when necessary Mask and prep parts for paint as required Cure parts after topcoat application Operate Chart recorders Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: Autobody and paint degree Painting experience preferred Basic computer skills; Excel, Word, Email Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.
