Die Shop/Die ChaserPosition Purpose/Function: We are currently seeking a candidate with flexible availability and a basic understanding of manufacturing equipment maintenance for a client in Canfield, Ohio.
This position is responsible for aiding the press operator in ensuring smooth production processes by assisting in various tasks and following directions effectively.
Shift:- 3rd Shift, Monday - Friday, 10:00pm-6:00AM (after training on day shift)
Pay:- Competitive pay based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Setting up dies for the presses
- Collecting dies from the presses and placing them into the caustic
- Putting tooling away after the dies are polished
- Cleaning the die shop and caustic room
- Unloading die vendors
- Collaborating with the Dieshop Manager on corrections
- Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift heavy objects of approximately 100 lbs or more
- Availability to work overtime or early shifts if needed
- Adaptability to work in extreme cold and extreme heat conditions
- Capability to work in an environment with loud noises and moving equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to quickly understand and follow directions
