Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
- Assesses patients by physical examination including diagnostic testing to determine health status.
- Administer medication and treatments
- Participates in care planning and oversees the implementation of the plan
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in condition
- Documents assessments and care
- Educates patients and families
- Supervises nursing department staff
Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid New Jersey RN license
- Current CPR certification
