Nesco Resource is looking for a 2 nd Shift Warehouse/Forklift Operator located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: 3PM-11PM (Availability to train on 1 st Shift)
Pay: $17.51-$18.84 (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview: The right candidate will join the team as a Warehouse Operator with expertise in operating various Forklifts. You will be part of the warehouse team operations including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts for all materials and supplies in the facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.
- Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
- Develop the warehouse processes and improve team performance using Lean methodology.
- Safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements.
- Proficiently operate various Forklifts.
Requirements: - Proven warehouse operator experience with forklift proficiency.
- Valid forklift operator certification preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, strong organizational skills, and adaptability.
- Previous experience in similar manufacturing environment
