Repair Technician - 2nd shift

Pay Rate/Range: $28.60

Hours: 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Location: Orlando, FL

Duration: 3 months

Key Responsibilities:

Modifies equipment according to service bulletins and/or manufacturer documentation.

Carries out prescribed procedures according to an established schedule.

Receives training in the use of more specialized test instruments and learns advanced troubleshooting procedures.

Follows specific layout and schematic diagrams to repair and maintain simple or advanced devices or subunits of equipment.

Reviews work orders to ensure customer requested activities have been complied with before releasing the repair.

Completes quality and repair paperwork, prepares estimates, and maintains maintenance documentation in accordance with current quality assurance requirements.

Communicates with cross-functional departments as required to support the repair process.

Participates in Technician cross-training programs and may be assigned to other teams for short or long-term assignments.

Completes repairs in accordance with company ISO procedures and within company objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

Capable of working flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be flexible and willing to work in any area in Repair or Production, as necessary.

Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the company culture and values.

Must maintain a professional appearance.

Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and meet company insurance standards.

Must pass a 7-year background check and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior military or commercial avionics level 3 component repair experience preferred.

FAA Repair Certificate a plus.

Ability to meticulously document incoming product condition and maintenance activities.

Physical Demands:

Moderate physical activity required, including handling objects up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and/or up to twenty (20) pounds frequently (Medium).

Hand/finger fine motor skills and dexterity required to handle small parts and operate hand tools (Frequent).

Special Position Requirements:

Requires rotation between all shifts, as well as weekend and vacation work.

Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules.

Repair Station environment may present elevated noise levels.

Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.
