2nd Shift Finished Goods Line Machine Operator

Finished Goods Line- Machine Operator 2nd Shift - Line 2 Position Overview Your contribution will ensure that Johnsonville products are of the highest quality and meet our defined standards of safety. You'll learn about a variety of line processes, expanding your existing knowledge for application into the business of making sausage. Essential Duties / Responsibilities Operate and learn different machines/positions on the line which may include: Labeler Wrapping Machine operator Case packing operator Quality Enhancement Specialist Casings Meat Delivery Stuffing operator Traying Line Support Proper set up and teardown of equipment Must be able to complete production documentation accurately Ability to accurately perform SAP transactions and processes Must be able to identify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Take ownership for your personal safety and the safety of all Members working around you Ability to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner Education High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience / Skills Mechanical skills necessary for equipment set up and operation In depth knowledge of equipment functions and the ability to assist in troubleshooting Ability to read and understand a production schedule Basic mechanical aptitude Identify and resolve potential problems Ability to work independently without direct supervision Must have desire to learn and grow and share information with fellow Members Willingness to continuously improve performance and job knowledge Excellent prioritization skills Must have a very keen eye for visual inspection purposes. Strong attention to detail as it relates to product quality Strong written and verbal communication skills required Excellent attendance and performance record Proactive team player, dependable and detail oriented Physical Demands Must be able to hand grip up to 50 lbs, and lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift Willingness to work in cold conditions Other Requirements External Candidates Only: Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check Location: Watertown, WI Member Status: Full Time, Hourly (At Johnsonville, you are not an employee.
