2ND SHIFT BOX TRUCK DRIVER Status: Regular, Full-time Shift: 2nd, 4p-12a (occasional weekends) Reports to: Receiving Manager Job Purpose This individual is experienced in Receiving/Restocking work or has a desire and ability to learn the Receiving/Restocking job duties. This position can be a fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering, carrying, and restocking boxes of inventory. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO BE FORKLIFT AND BOX TRUCK CERTIFIED FOR THIS POSITION Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties Responsibilities: Safely picks, wraps, counts, weighs, inventories or tags products and materials per guidelines. Responsibility of moving and transporting merchandise throughout the stock locations. Properly stages materials within the designated areas per work flow guidelines. Maintains the cleanliness and order of work area. Duties include stocking and restocking inventory bins. Sorting merchandise by color and size. Must have the ability to be trained to use a hand held inventory/receiving scanner. Will be asked to support a variety of Receiving, Inventory and Shipping initiatives as trained and assigned. Will be assigned to drive the box truck to and from Hillsborough and Mebane locations on a daily basis. Follows all safety procedures on a consistent basis. Minimum Requirements: Must pass drug screen. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel when restocking items. Must be able to go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products. Must have high attention to detail and a very high focus on accuracy. Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism. Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Must be proficient in English in order to be considered for this position. Candidates must be 21 years of age or older to work in this position. Must have a clean driving record and be insurable on our company's driving insurance. Skills & Abilities: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Computer Skills: Some basic computer skills required.
