Job Summary Job Summary Ceiba's educational program is based around our mission of preparing all of our students for college. Ceiba works to achieve our mission through a small school feel offering personalized attention, a challenging academic course load and a positive, highly structured school environment. We offer after school activities and academic support to help our scholars achieve exceptional results and prepare students, and their families, for college completion. Ceiba teachers are coached and evaluated by Ceiba administrators. RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to identify students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Analyze data and gather information to develop individualized intervention plans. Intervention Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies based on students' needs and goals. Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to support students in areas such as reading, math, behavior management, and social skills. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and track students' progress regularly to assess the effectiveness of interventions. Adjust intervention plans as needed based on ongoing progress monitoring and data analysis. Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents/guardians to coordinate interventions and support services. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and planning sessions to discuss student progress and intervention strategies. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of interventions, assessments, progress notes, and communication with stakeholders. Prepare and present reports on student progress, outcomes, and intervention effectiveness. Behavioral Support: Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior development.
