CNC Operator
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Operator for a company in St. Joseph. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC lathes and mills, ensuring the production of high-quality parts while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Position Details:
- Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Location: St. Joseph, MN
Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts
- Deburring parts to ensure smooth surfaces
- Adhering to strict quality standards and shop regulations
- Assisting with machine setup as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a machine shop
- Consistent employment for one year within the last two years.
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- High school diploma or technical college graduate
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Steel-toed boots required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift operation experience (training provided if necessary)
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Experience with CNC machine setup
